MotoGP’s now-retired legend Valentino Rossi claimed 89 premier-class wins during his illustrious career.
Thirteen of those came in the 500cc era, while the rest happened after the switch to MotoGP regulations, as he continued to dominate.
But for every Rossi premier-class win, there was somebody who had to finish second.
In this quiz, we want you to name every rider who was ‘best of the rest’ behind Rossi in each of his wins, both in 500cc and in MotoGP.
