The latest game Gran Turismo game in the PlayStation exclusive racing franchise was unveiled in ‘The Future of Gaming’ PlayStation 5 reveal event.
Not much was revealed, but a glimpse at the menus reveal a more single-player, campaign focused game than the more multiplayer and esports focused game of Gran Turismo Sport.
Gran Turismo Sport was released in 2017 but the last numbered entry, Gran Turismo 6, came out on the PS3 in 2013.
The announcement trailer included a brief look at the tuning parts shop and also showed that the used car dealership would make a return to the series.
The trailer also showed off an onboard lap of the fictional Trial Mountain circuit which has been a staple of Gran Turismo games but updated graphically.
An exact release date for the game hasn’t been confirmed.
