This weekend’s 2023 Australian Grand Prix will be the 37th world championship Formula 1 race in the country since the inaugural event at Adelaide in 1985.
The GP stayed at Adelaide until 1996, when it switched to the Albert Park street circuit and became, for a while, the traditional season-opening race.
There’s been no shortage of iconic moments at both Adelaide and Albert Park over the past four decades and there’s been a wide variety of podium finishers.
