The Road to Indy is at the fabled Indianapolis Motor Speedway to kick off ‘the month of May’, and you can catch the Indy Lights championship live with The Race this weekend.
The winner of the Indy Lights championship this year will earn a three-race IndyCar scholarship including an Indy 500 entry, while the top three in the standings will score and IndyCar test.
With the season having kicked off with double-headers at Barber and at St Petersburg, David Malukas won a race at each and has scored pole position at Indianapolis for race two, which international viewers can watch below:
Race two: Saturday, 1235hrs ET (1735hrs BST)
In the first race of the weekend at Indianapolis – which you can re-watch below – Linus Lundqvist took pole position and held off Malukas for the race victory to take the championship lead by just four points from his close rival.
Reigning champion team Andretti Autosport’s tricky start to the season continued as its top driver Kyle Kirkwood could only manage fourth behind Malukas and frontrunner Toby Sowery.
