1 min read

Global motorsport technology provider Al Kamel Systems will have a new North American headquarters near the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Al Kamel Systems provides services to some of the world’s most prestigious international championships including Formula E, the World Endurance Championship and Extreme E/H.

It has a big presence in America too providing services to series and circuits such as the IMSA Sportscar Championship, the Circuit of the Americas and Ferrari Challenge North America.

A new headquarters for Al Kamel North America will feature a new Indianapolis office and fully-equipped remote services facility that will provide timing, TV graphics, track limits management, race control solutions and more to series and circuit partners.

The idea is to make Al Kamel Systems a more competitive player in the American market, facilitating brand growth and the expansion of its current services.

"Our company has always aimed to expand into the American market, but in recent months, we've gained the momentum that has motivated us to establish a physical presence there,” CEO of Al Kamel Systems Jose Luis García said.

“Our existing agreement with IMSA, coupled with our recent partnership with COTA, sparked increased interest from American clients.

“However, the final decision to enter the US market was driven by a new agreement with USAC [United States Auto Club] to provide services for several of their championships, as well as interest from various permanent circuits."
