In the Pro Cup, it was Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports versus Aston Martin for the title. Recent esports arrival Aston looked comfortable in the teams’ standings, but its drivers Nicki Thiim and Charlie Eastwood were still trying to chase down Mercedes man Esteban Gutierrez in the drivers’ standings.
Though Mercedes was in a strong position in the Sim Masters too, this was the closest of the three championships.
Mercedes was just one point ahead of Team Redline in the teams’ contest with Williams Esports also within six points of the lead.
Bono Huis headed the drivers’ table for Mercedes, but with Williams’s Kuba Brzezinski only five points adrift and a further 14 drivers still in with a title shot.
It was looking good for Jenson Button in the Legends Trophy – he led Emanuele Pirro by 39 points and Jan Magnussen by 51.
