The 2024 Isle of Man Senior TT race winner Davey Todd will reunite with the Padgetts Racing squad for the 2025 event in the supersport and supertwin classes, as he adds two more machines to his stable alongside the FHO Racing BMWs that he’ll contest in the main superbike and superstock races come June.
Todd, who finished second and third in 2024’s two supersport races, will ride a Honda CBR600 for the historic family team, while in the supertwin class, he’ll be looking to improve on his brace of top six finishes by moving to the all-conquering Paton machine that has dominated the class in recent years.
The news means that the two-time TT winner will reunite with Clive Padgett’s team for the first time since 2023, with his four previous seasons riding for the squad seeing him take his first international road race victory at the North West 200 as well as multiple podiums at the TT.
“I’m super excited to be joining forces with the Padgett’s team again,” said Todd, “back with the team I know and love from the last few years when we did some great things together.
“Joining back with them for the Supersport and Supertwin races at the TT is something I’m really, really looking forward to.
“I know that the CBR has improved a little bit more since I last rode it and that the team have improved the bike further themselves so I’m really excited to get back out on it whilst the Paton has proven to be the bike to be on recently in the Supertwin class.
“I’m equally excited to be working with some of the team that I would call family from our previous relationship so, I’m really excited to be back with Padgett’s and hopefully we can do some good things together.”
