There will be a host of driver line-up changes for the 2025 Formula 2 championship, particularly after a season in which 32 different drivers were fielded by the 11 teams.

Furthermore, Kimi Antonelli, Ollie Bearman and 2024 F2 champion Gabriel Bortoleto will all graduate to Formula 1 alongside ex-F2 driver Jack Doohan.

Here are the confirmed drivers for the 2025 F2 championship in order of the 2024 teams’ championship standings.

Invicta

Roman Stanek (Czechia, 48 F2 starts)
Leonardo Fornaroli (Italy, rookie)

Invicta, F2

An all-new line-up at 2024 teams’ champion Invicta Racing as its drivers’ champion Gabriel Bortoleto joins Sauber to make his F1 debut in 2025 and Kush Maini moves to DAMS.

Bortoleto had joined the team as the Formula 3 champion - and now it's secured his F3 champ successor in Leonardo Fornaroli. His team-mate will be Roman Stanek, who left Trident after the 2024 Monza F2 round.

Campos

Arvid Lindblad (Great Britain, rookie)
Pepe Marti (Spain, 28 F2 starts)

Campos, F2

Campos ran an all-Red Bull junior line-up of Isack Hadjar and Pepe Marti this year. In 2025, its F2 roster is another all-Red Bull line-up with highly-rated 17-year-old Arvid Lindblad joining returnee Marti.

Marti finished 14th in the 2023 F2 drivers' championship with a sprint race win and three other podiums.

MP Motorsport

Richard Verschoor (Netherlands, 102 starts)
Oliver Goethe (Denmark, 8 starts)

MP, F2

After Franco Colapinto left MP to replace Logan Sargeant at Williams from the 2024 Italian Grand Prix onwards, Oliver Goethe was recruited as his mid-season replacement. The Red Bull junior will continue with the team in 2025.

Richard Verschoor switched to MP Motorsport from Trident for the last two rounds of the 2024 F2 campaign and will race for the team in 2025 for his fifth season in the category.

Hitech

Luke Browning (Great Britain, 6 starts)
Dino Beganovic (Sweden, 4 starts)

Hitech, F2

Hitech has recruited Williams junior driver Luke Browning and Ferrari junior Dino Beganovic for 2025.

Browning, who finished third in the 2024 F3 championship, competed for ART Grand Prix in the final three F2 rounds of 2024.

Beganovic also ran in the closing F2 races of the season, showing eye-catching form - and scoring a podium - as a DAMS driver.

Prema

Gabriele Mini (Italy, 2 starts)
Sebastian Montoya (Colombia, rookie)

Prema, F2

Prema will field an all-new line-up for 2025 as Antonelli graduates to F1 to replace Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes and Bearman steps up with Haas.

F3 2024 runner-up Gabriele Mini will enter the 2025 F2 championship with Prema. The Alpine junior driver made an early F2 debut with Prema in Azerbaijan, in place of Bearman, and scored a podium.

Sebastian Montoya, son of Juan Pablo Montoya, will be Mini's team-mate after a two-year stint in F3 in which he finished 16th and 17th.

DAMS

Jak Crawford (USA, 54 starts)
Kush Maini (India, 54 starts)

DAMS, F2

Maini - an Alpine junior - will switch from Invicta to DAMS for 2025, having finished 13th in the 2024 F2 championship.

Aston Martin young driver Jak Crawford will continue with DAMS after finishing fifth for the team in 2024.

ART Grand Prix

Ritomo Miyata (Japan, 28 starts)
Victor Martins (France, 54 starts)

ART, F2

ART had a rough 2024 with Victor Martins, Zak O'Sullivan and O'Sullivan's mid-season replacement Browning - who has left for Hitech.

ART has replaced Browning with Super Formula champion Ritomo Miyata who switches from Rodin for his second year in F2.

He'll join the returning Victor Martins, the Alpine junior contesting his third F2 season, having finished fifth in 2023 and seventh in 2024.

Rodin

Amaury Cordeel (Belgium, 76 starts)
Alex Dunne (Ireland, rookie)

Rodin, F2

Christian Mansell - no relation to Nigel Mansell - finished fifth in the 2024 F3 championship and stepped up to F2 with Trident in Azerbaijan.

He was set to switch to Rodin for 2025 before making a shock announcement that he was pausing his racing career for personal reasons. Amaury Cordeel will be his replacement for the 2025 F2 season.

McLaren junior Alex Dunne, who steps up from Formula 3, having finished 14th last year with MP Motorsport, will drive the other Rodin-run car.

AIX

Joshua Duerksen (Paraguay, 28 starts)
Cian Shields (Great Britain, 4 starts)

AIX, F2

AIX (formerly PHM AIX) fielded Joshua Duerksen full-time in 2024 while Taylor Barnard graduated to Formula E with McLaren after 10 F2 rounds. Barnard was replaced by Niels Koolen and then Cian Shields.

Duerksen will stay with the team in 2025 with Shields his team-mate.

Trident

Max Esterson (USA, 4 starts)
Sami Meguetounif (France, rookie)

Trident, F2

Max Esterson, who finished 21st in the 2023 F3 championship, replaced Verschoor for the final two 2024 F2 rounds, and will continue with Trident in 2025.

Invicta-bound Stanek also left the team prematurely in 2024 and was replaced by Mansell - who will drive for Rodin next year.

Sami Meguetounif, who scored two wins with Trident in the 2024 F3 championship, joins the F2 squad for 2025.

Van Amersfoort Racing

John Bennett (Great Britain, 2 starts)
Rafael Villagomez (Mexico, 28 starts)

Van Amersfoort Racing, F2

Van Amersfoort Racing fielded Enzo Fittipaldi until round 12 of the 2024 F2 championship, until he left and was replaced by GB3 runner-up John Bennett. Bennett will continue with VAR in 2025.

Rafael Villagomez campaigned the full 2024 F2 season and finished 24th out of 32 drivers. He'll return for a second year alongside Bennett.
