The newest officially licensed MotoGP game has set its release date as 23rd April 2020.
That’s almost two months earlier than previous MotoGP games, which were often released in June.
The game brags are the return of Managerial Career, greater personalisation options for your bike’s livery and your rider’s racesuit, as well as expected improvements in terms of realism. Specific improvements have been made to braking management, tyre wear and fuel consumption.
The earlier than expected release date was likely set so the game can be seamlessly integrated into the upcoming fourth season of MotoGP Esports.
The Pro Draft stage of the competition starts on 5th March on the 2019 MotoGP game with three separate online challenges on time-attack mode being run until the Pro Draft process ends on 5th April.
The MotoGP teams then pick their riders during the Draft Pool pick window that runs from 6th-17th April.
Following MotoGP 20’s release the first of the Global Series rounds will take place on 29th May to coincide with the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello.
The series also visits the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian Grand Prix and Misano for the San Marino round, before culminating alongside MotoGP at the Valencia season finale in November.
With the Esports championship once again backed by BMW, the series’ winner will collect a car from its M Sport range as the grand prize.
