Maserati went leftfield when completing its line-up for the 2024 Formula E season - and the driver who's replaced team stalwart Edoardo Mortara, Jehan Daruvala, joins The Race Formula E Podcast to talk about his new challenge.
The Race's Sam Smith journeyed to Monaco to meet Daruvala - the newest addition to the Formula E grid - and his new team boss James Rossiter, and between them they discuss Maserati's (and Daruvala's) aspirations for the 2024 campaign and the new facilities the team moved into last month - with Rossiter expanding on where Maserati is at presently.
Maserati wasn't the only team to announce its complete 2024 FE driver plans on Wednesday. The podcast also looks at Mahindra's all-new line-up - with Mortara moving across after his Maserati exit and Nyck de Vries finding Formula E solace after all following his shortlived Formula 1 stint - as well as the chances of a Lucas di Grassi homecoming at Abt Cupra following his own Mahindra departure.
There's also a look back at some of the more off-beat moments from the 2023 campaign, including Jake Hughes head-butting some debris fencing and Smith being escorted by a herd of goats to the Hyderabad E-Prix entrance.
