Da Costa will be joined by inaugural Formula E champion Nelson Piquet Jr, who is contesting the race from his native Brazil.
Santiago E-Prix winner and new BMW factory driver Max Gunther is on the grid and will show his Esports mettle against BMW’s manufacturer rival Porsche’s Formula E driver Neel Jani.

Additionally, Mercedes EQ test and reserve driver Daniel Juncadellla will also go racing after securing his place on the grid on Saturday.
