Williams will launch its 2025 Formula 1 car in a one-off livery at Silverstone on February 14.
The reveal of the FW47, which will be raced by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz this season, is taking place four days ahead of F1's official season launch event at the O2 in London.
While F1 had billed that spectacle as the place for teams to show off their 2025 cars and drivers, Williams is the first squad to announce that it will display its new challenger ahead of time.
But in order to keep something back for the O2 event, the 2025 launch car will be shown in a one-off livery.
While Williams has made no secret of the fact that its main focus is in ensuring it is in the best shape possible for F1's new rules era from 2026, team boss James Vowles said there was still a great deal of excitement about what is coming this season.
"There is a tremendous amount to look forward to for Williams in 2025," he said.
"We have fantastic race drivers in Alex and Carlos, top engineers joining from across the grid and new facilities becoming operational at our Grove HQ.
"As part of our comeback plan, we have been working on our 2025 car for some time and I can't wait to see it at Silverstone on February 14.
"Everyone in the team is giving everything to get this team back where it belongs as we head towards the major rule changes for 2026. It’s going to be an exciting year."
Williams's announcement that it is launching ahead of the F1 season event comes after Ferrari revealed that it will be waiting until the day after to show (February 19) off its 2025 challenger.
Most teams are expected to reveal images of their cars around the time of the O2 event, although some are expected to still hold formal launches.
