Formula 1 teams have just three days of collective testing to prepare for the new 2025 season.

The Bahrain Sakhir International Circuit will play host to the three-day test where teams will put their brand-new 2025 cars through their paces ahead of the season-opener in Australia on March 16.

Below you'll find a full schedule for the three days as well as how to watch the action.

When is F1 testing?

F1 2025 testing will take place between February 26 and February 28 with track action happening from 10am to 7pm local time.

Bahrain is three hours ahead of UK time so each test day will take place from 7am to 4pm UK time.

There's an unofficial lunch break that splits the day between 2-3pm local time (11am-midday UK time) where press conferences will take place with drivers and team principals.

F1 testing (local time)

Wednesday February 26: 7am-4pm
Thursday February 27: 7am-4pm
Friday February 28: 7am-4pm

Where can I watch it?

Sky Sports F1 will be showing live coverage of every minute of testing across the three days for those fans in the UK. Likewise on Sky Italia in Italy and Sky Deutschland in Germany. Viaplay has coverage in the Netherlands while Canal+ will show testing for those fans in France.

Fans across the United States can watch on ESPN+ and in regions where it's available F1 TV Pro customers will get full live coverage of testing.

The Race will be providing updates, news, technical explanations, laptime analysis, insight and opinion across our website, social media platforms and YouTube channel.

Plus there's never been a better time to subscribe to The Race Members' Club on Patreon as there's currently a very special offer that means you get 90% off your first month, and also because we've got some special Members' Club-exclusive content planned for F1 testing. More info here.

Who is driving?

All 20 of the full-time 2025 F1 drivers will be taking part in testing with teams most likely to opt to split the time evenly between the two drivers.

Teams are only allowed to run one car at the test each team's race drivers will take it in turns to drive the new car.
