What time is the Qatar GP? F1 race, sprint + qualifying schedule

With the 2024 Formula 1 drivers' championship wrapped up, the Qatar Grand Prix weekend presents the first opportunity for the constructors' championship to be sealed, too.

Given it's a sprint weekend with more points on offer that will be easier said than done for McLaren, though, which faces stiff competition from another former titan of F1 title-winning glory, Ferrari, in what looks increasingly like a two-horse race for the the constructors' crown.

Here are all the times you need to be aware of as F1 pays its third visit to the Lusail circuit:

Qatar GP (November 29-December 1) timings

Lusail (AST), located to the north of Qatar's capital, Doha, is three hours ahead of UK time.

The weekend kicks off with first practice at 4.30pm local time (1.30pm UK), before qualifying for the sprint race at 8.30pm (5.30pm UK).

The final sprint race of the season opens Saturday's F1 track action at 4pm local time (1pm UK) with qualifying proper for the Qatar GP commencing at 9pm (6pm UK).

The 2024 Qatar Grand Prix starts at 7pm local time (4pm UK) on Sunday December 1.
