The first two races of the 2021 F1 season have made it pretty clear we can look forward to a real title fight between Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
And a big part of that is thanks to the huge effort Honda has put in for its final season in F1.
We’ve already covered in previous videos some of the things Honda has done with its 2021 engine, and now we can explain exactly why Honda is so proud of an achievement it’s calling “almost miraculous”, what its new engine is achieving on track, and the key weaknesses that have been addressed alongside the obvious gains in power.
