A ridiculously chaotic Brazilian Grand Prix featured an incredible performance from Max Verstappen and marked the likely end to Lando Norris’s Formula 1 title bid.

The weekend looked like it was going well away from Verstappen and Red Bull, with Verstappen having already lost three points to Norris in the sprint race on Saturday.

And with Norris on pole for the grand prix, 16 places ahead of Verstappen, Norris had a big opportunity to slash Verstappen’s 44–point advantage in the title fight. 

But instead, there was a huge swing in the opposite direction with Verstappen claiming his first grand prix victory since Barcelona in June, winning from the lowest grid slot he’s ever won from.
