Aston Martin’s launch of its AMR21 was the most eagerly anticipated of pre-season, and the reveal didn’t disappoint.
Unlike so many other teams, what used to be Racing Point showed off plenty of detail and genuine new parts.
While the team claims the car is “100% Aston Martin” rather than just another copy of Mercedes, there are several clear examples of how it has continued to follow the lead of the best team on the grid, and it has also inherited one of the key performance gains the world champion team made last year.
