It's little wonder Mercedes Formula 1 team principal Toto Wolff is taking an interest in the soap opera that is Felipe Massa's quest for "justice" over the outcome of the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix; the outcome of any action there sets a clear precedent for similar contentious F1 title calls such as Lewis Hamilton's defeat to Max Verstappen in 2021 to be revisited.
Yet Wolff is emphatic in his view that there's no case to be answered - and that if Massa's legal pursuit did somehow lead to a change in results 15 years past the point it would leave F1 in a state of "disarray".
As well as recapping what Massa's legal team is seeking action on and why it's doing so, our latest video looks at what Mercedes might stand to gain if such a bid was successful (even though Wolff doesn't want it to be), the pandora's box any attempt to adjust the 2008 outcome would open, and why that can't be allowed to happen.
