Former Jordan and Stewart Formula 1 technical director Gary Anderson gives his verdict on the newly-revealed Haas-Ferrari VF-22, the first sight of a genuine car designed under the new regulations in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast.

Haas has promised the car will be “marginally different” come the first pre-season test later this month, but the images released do show substantially the design of the real car.

We pick out the key areas of interest, as well as the areas where Haas appears to be hiding a few secrets on behalf of Ferrari.

The major changes the team has made in terms of its design approach are also explained, and we also evaluate Haas’s chances of re-emerging as a points scorer in the coming season.

With Haas only the first of the 10 car launches coming this month, The Race F1 Podcast will discuss all of them in-depth – as well as bringing you everything you need to know from each day of F1 testing.
