McLaren has revealed its 2024 Formula 1 car, the MCL38, leaving only Mercedes, Red Bull and Williams to launch their cars before pre-season testing.
McLaren already unveiled its 2024 livery at a surprise early launch last month, but on Wednesday morning it took the covers off its 2024 challenger.
The MCL38 will be completing its first on-track running during a filming day at Silverstone later on Wednesday.
It continues a busy week of launches, following Aston Martin and Ferrari, and preceding the final two: Mercedes and Red Bull.
The last 12 months have been significant for McLaren, which bounced back from a woeful start to 2023 to become one of Red Bull's key rivals for two-thirds of last year, all under the leadership of first-time team boss Andrea Stella.
Key technical signings including Rob Marshall (ex-Red Bull) and David Sanchez (ex-Ferrari) started work on January 1, and the 2024 car is the first to benefit from McLaren's new windtunnel.
Driver-wise, Lando Norris committed his future to McLaren over the winter, signing a new long-term deal that will keep him at the team until at least the end of 2026.
Team-mate Oscar Piastri already received a multi-year deal of his own last season and will also remain at McLaren until 2026 at the earliest.
McLaren revealing its car leaves only Williams (which launched its livery on February 5 and will shakedown its car on February 20), Mercedes (launching later on Wednesday morning) and Red Bull (launching on Thursday) to reveal something resembling their 2024 car.
