Ferrari package + more: Every F1 team's Italian GP upgrades

It's never a surprise to see Formula 1 teams armed with upgrades at Monza considering the low-drag demands of the Italian Grand Prix venue.

But among those track-specific solutions comes a promised upgrade for Ferrari that it's previously stated it hopes will lift it out of "damage limitation" mode in F1's leading battle.

Mark Hughes is on hand to take you through that and every other team's Monza updates:

Red Bull

Red Bull is back to using its low-drag bodywork (as distinct from the high-downforce version used at Zandvoort and Hungary), and has used essentially the same low downforce wing as in Spa, with variable flap area across the span from extensive trailing edge contouring.

This version appears to carry more downforce-producing area than a conventional Monza wing. The front wing second chord has been reduced to match the lower downforce and drag demands of the track.

Mercedes

The Monza version of the conventional Mercedes rear wing has a reduced camber of flap with cutaways at the outer edges.

Ferrari

Ferrari has introduced some development parts as well as the Monza-specific very low downforce rear wing.

These centre around a new floor, with a reshaped central flat-floor ‘canoe’ section, and appropriate changes to the angles of the floor fences at the tunnel inlets, new floor edge detail, a revised expansion ramp to the diffuser and a greater coke bottle cutout.

McLaren

As well as the Monza wings, a second phase of the Zandvoort update appears here - with a new sidepod shape beneath the engine cover.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin has brought a lower loading rear wing and beam wing and has an accompanying flap reduction of the front wing.

Alpine

A less loaded front wing flap to cover the balance range imposed by the low downforce rear wing, which has a very small flap but quite big mainplane.

Williams

Part of the FW46's front wing endplate has been removed and the dive plane angle reduced. This is to give the required balance with the Monza rear wing.

RB

As well as the usual low-drag Monza wing chords, the RB has a new floor, claimed to increase downforce and give improved airflow management to the other downforce-producing surfaces downstream.

Sauber

Development parts on the Sauber comprise a new forward floor for increased load towards the front and a slightly revised diffuser sidewall which further accelerates the flow through the tunnel as well as giving better control of the airflow disruption from the tyre.

There are also circuit-specific front and rear wings.

Haas

For Haas, there's a re-cambered front wing flap and a change to the aero profile of the sheathing around the front suspension.
