The Red Bull RB18 finally broke cover on the opening day of pre-season testing and Adrian Newey’s latest creation didn’t let us down, as we discuss in the latest edition of The Race F1 Podcast.

Gary Anderson joins Edd Straw to analyse the Red Bull RB18, which has plenty of design innovation and has certainly pushed the limits of what’s possible

From the aggressive sidepod undercut to the pushrod rear suspension to what Anderson calls a double diffuser – albeit not in the Brawn 2009 sense – there are aggressive designs all over this car.

We also take a look at the Alfa Romeo C42, which we have discussed before but the opening day of testing was the first time we had a clear look at it.

This podcast is the 10th and final episode in our 2022 F1 car reveal series, but we will also be bringing you daily testing updates from our team at the Barcelona circuit.
