Ralf Schumacher's Formula 1 achievements rank a long, long way behind brother Michael's, and while Ralf certainly proved he deserved his F1 place perhaps his path to it might have been much harder had he not had a famous and influential sibling.
But for a few months in 2001, Michael's assertion that Ralf was his biggest future title threat didn't look entirely crazy as the younger Schumacher gelled with a much better than expected Williams-BMW package and took the fight to his big brother.
He often came off second-best, though - such as at the Nurburgring, where on the weekend Ralf secured a long-term Williams future his chances of a home win were wrecked by controversial driving from his brother and a penalty Michael's Ferrari team helped make sure of.
