Alpine’s 2025 Formula 1 machine, the A525, has become the latest car to hit the track in Bahrain ahead of pre-season testing starting on Wednesday.
Alpine released renders of the car as part of its livery reveal at the F1 75 event in London, before getting its first running during a filming day on February 24.
Its 2025 race drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan split the running, which is restricted to anything fewer than 200km in total.
Alpine called it “a momentous occasion in our 2025 journey” while Gasly said it was a "great feeling to be back on track".

He added: "It is only a shakedown, limited running, so it’s not like we are driving the car at its full potential but the initial feeling felt smooth and I am just looking forward to getting going and having a proper run later this week for official pre-season testing."
Gasly and Doohan will evenly split running during F1's three day test.
This will be Alpine’s last year as a works entry as it will switch to a Mercedes power supply next year. Once again the team is sponsored by BWT, which encourages a significant amount of pink in the livery alongside the blue of Alpine which the team will carry into a fifth season.
Red Bull's RB21 remains the only 2025 car not yet seen on-track or via digital renders.
