Pierre Gasly’s shock win in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza immediately prompted talk of if Red Bull should put him back into its senior Formula 1 team in place of Alex Albon.

But given the way Gasly has settled back in at Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri since his 2019 demotion, and with Red Bull’s car making life tough for its drivers this year, it may not make sense to move him again just because he’s a race winner.

In our latest video, Edd Straw and Scott Mitchell join Glenn Freeman to discuss what Red Bull should do and when it should consider another shuffling of its pack, how Albon’s form fits into the picture, and if Gasly will need to ‘do a Carlos Sainz Jr’ and flee the Red Bull nest.
