Ferrari was left surprised, confused and worried after being demolished by Formula 1 rival Red Bull in the Belgian Grand Prix – and the big concern now is whether it can happen again.
Max Verstappen was able to dominate the Spa race despite only starting 14th, while Ferrari turned a pole position into third for Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc had a tough run to sixth having only started one place behind Verstappen.
It was a crushing performance from Verstappen and Red Bull, so much so that Leclerc called it a “strange” leap and admitted Ferrari didn’t know how it happened.
