Lando Norris will briefly sit on 10 Formula 1 penalty points after receiving a controversial penalty for allegedly forcing Sergio Perez off the track in last Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix.
The McLaren driver picked up two penalty points for forcing Perez off the track whilst battling for second place in the early stages of the second F1 race at the Red Bull Ring this season.
Added to the penalty points he acquired for three previous incidents, it brings his total to within two of what is required to receive a race ban.
